FIELD VISIT SENEGAL

It has been such a treat to be able to finally connect in person, on the ground, with the three laureates of our Innovating for Mothers Challenge (I4M) in Senegal. Our I4M project officer travelled to Senegal earlier in November to continue the joint work that had been happening online in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. She had working sessions with the social entrepreneurs we support from Agora, Corpus and Njureel who are innovating to bring quality care to pregnant women in Dakar and the St. Louis region.

MAR and our partner in Brazil the University of Campinas, co-presented at the 17th International Urban Health Conference. We featured our joint collaboration to help improve the quality of antenatal care of vulnerable pregnant women in the town of Guarujá (Sao Paolo state).
