MAR is a Brussels-based non-profit founded by a group of people determined to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable and marginalized mothers in the developing world. Since 2009, volunteers from diverse backgrounds have been working to reduce the staggering number of women and girls who die each year in childbirth or from pregnancy-related complications. As maternal health advocates, we are fighting for the right to quality, respectful maternal health care for all women, and to end maternal and infant mortality and morbidity.

We provide grants and technical know-how to NGOs implementing high-impact projects to help improve outcomes for at-risk mothers in the global south.
